Imagine a farm...
where the animals live most of their lives in fields and pastures and where you are always welcome to wander, say hello, or help out.
Ten years ago, that was what we set out to find--ideally in a breathtaking, thriving agricultural community fewer than 3 hours drive from New York City. We worried: was this too much to hope for? But from the moment we stepped out of the car amid these rolling hills, we knew we’d found the place.
What we've started...
is Tenfold Farm, where all the animals are pasture raised in lush, green fields. We raise pastured pigs, chickens, and lambs and offer a place for your family to learn, relax, play, and pitch in if you choose. Our family owned and run farm has 156 acres of fields and forests, including four springs, a pond, and an 1800s era barn and farmhouse.
What we offer...
is an alternative to the destructive practices of large-scale agriculture. Raising our heritage breed animals outdoors in pastures, never using any chemical fertilizers or pesticides--these are some of the ways we care for our animals and our land.
